There really is nothing quite like a Burberry show. For the second season season running this great British stalwart chose to show at London fashion Week. Ahhh Burberry. You’ve already seen Posh Spice clip-clopping away in one of the must-have spring summer mini pleat trenches, and you can completely see her prancing about in of the myriad of fabulous aviator inspired shearling jackets from the autumn/winter show today. If I ever have to fly myself to a dinner a date I’ll throw on one of their gorgeoues fitted ruched cocktail dresses, a pair of what will definitely be must-have aviator-style pilot boots and one of the many fantastic interpretations of a the Burberry shearling military aviator jacket, that designer Christopher Bailey conjured up.
Front rowers included The September Issue herself, American Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, the Hollywood fashion queens the Olsen twins, new kid on the block Carey Mulligan and Kate Hudson. What’s more for a select few around the globe, the show was streemed live in 3D and customers could buy the looks fresh from the catwalk online, straight after the event itself.
