If you haven’t heard about the blog What Katie Wore, then where have you been? The concept behind it is fantastic! Katie has to wear a different outfit every day and her boyfriend Joe diarizes her different looks throughout the year. It is a great source of fashion inspiration, good if you’re looking to shake up your style or just to have a good nosey at what Katie is wearing!
Here are a couple of our favourite looks from Katie … (there are so many that is was honestly hard to choose):
Lucky Katie had a day off after Mother’s Day, which she spent pottering around London. Love her matching jacket and bag!
Prints are set to be a big trend this summer, check out her leopard print jacket, meow!

F&F Couture is coming!

You may have read about it in the news over the last few weeks? Well now you’re getting it from the horses mouth! There are sixteen pieces in the range, priced from £40-£140, all very unique in their own way. Here are just a few to wet your appetite:
One of our favourites! The textured Pagoda dress, priced £140. It has a very flattering sculptured shape, with a ruffled collar. Great for any summer weddings you may have coming up! The dress would also be great during the day teamed up with a pair of leggings and pumps.
Jumpsuits are set to be big this summer, (Kate Garraway wore our F&F silk jumpsuit recently for an awards ceremony) this F&F Couture jumpsuit for £80 will work well for Summer with its floaty material and bright colours, perfect if your planning a holiday away this year. Team it up with a denim jacket to keep you warm on summer evenings.

Trend Alert – Rock Chick

Everyone has a bit of a dark side, and in fashion this seems to be epitomised in the ever evolving rock chick trend. Good girls go bad with dark colours and studded details, sweet dresses get a sexy kick with studded belts and shoes.
If you need some celebrity inspiration, think Kate Moss, or The Twilight star, Kristen Stewart.
We have seen this look before, but this time it’s got a lot more studded detail, and more added sparkle. The focus is on “edging” up a classic girly look. Are pink high heels rock n roll? With studs on they are!
The rock chick look requires only one or two pieces to give your outfit an edge and it works really well with other big trends this year such as lace and floral’s. This season, why not combine a studded belt or scarf with a sweet floral dress? Or team up some lace leggings with some studded shoe boots? We have some great rock chick pieces to slot into your everyday wardrobe online, so have a browse.
And remember, however you choose to express your inner rock chick, there is only one accessory you will always need…attitude!

Portobello Road Street Style

Not only are there amazing vintage finds and jewellery stalls every few steps, but the fashion parade of stylish Londoners makes for a fabulous afternoon of people-watching and trend-spotting.
The cute girls shopping and browsing this afternoon had on lots of spring’s key trends like floral prints, lace and rock-chick style, seen on everything from studded accessories to tough-looking boots and jackets. We love how these girls put their individual spin on the trends – adding a burst of colour to an all-black outfit with a scarf or toughening up funky florals with a leather bomber (or giving them a preppy edge with a hunting jacket). Not even the occasional drizzle of rain could stand in their way!
Maybe we’ll snap a shot of you next time we’re in the neighbourhood…until then, happy shopping!
