Halloween Blogger Event

By Ken Synnott in Behind the scenes, Exclusive, News on Monday 4th October, 2010

Last Thursday we invited a few bloggers down to a spooky event at the One Aldwych Hotel in Covent Garden. With Halloween around the corner, and our new, bigger fancy dress collection available on the site, we invited some mums and their children to come and test out the range for themselves.

As well as try out the costumes, children had the chance to get their faces painted, decorate pumpkins and watch a Tesco Entertainment exclusive film, Monsters vs. Aliens – Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space. The movie is a short film from Dreamworks, perfect for the kids on Halloween!

Above we can see a boys skeleton costume in action, and two members of the Clothing at Tesco team, Rochelle and Reena, carving up pumpkins in their Gothic Bride and Medieval Witch costumes respectively.

The face painting team did a great job on the night, getting the kids made up before they went into the screening room to watch the movie.

A big thanks to NixdMinx, The Bottom of the Ironing Basket, A Mothers Ramblings, Family Affairs & Other Matters, Four Down Mum to Go, Me the Man and the Baby, Mummy’s Busy World and Mellow Mummy for stopping by, and making our first mummy blogger event a successful one!
