Tuxedo Time!

By Rochelle Symons in Menswear, Offers on Monday 29th November, 2010

We know that Christmas is party dress season, and we sometimes get so wrapped up in our lovely womenswear section, that we forget that men have to look good during the festive season too!

We realise shopping for guys isn’t always easy. Which is why we’re here to help out. We’ve got an amazing, (and I mean AMAZING), deal on tuxedo’s. Normally a daunting purchase, and worn so infrequently that it’s hard to justify the expense of buying one.

So to help out, we’ve released a tuxedo on the site which is only £50. Yes, you heard right. And it gets better, because until the 5th of December, you can snap it up for a measly £35. There’s really no excuse.

And let’s face it. Every man needs a tux. And every man looks better in a tux. Even David Beckham, who you would think couldn’t look any better!

And after snapping up this bargain for your man, the real highlight is that you now have more to spend on shoes. Go on then…

Clothing at Tesco loves PinkBow

By Rochelle Symons in Clothing at Tesco loves on Friday 26th November, 2010

This week, we’ve been reading PinkBow, a great fashion blog written by Paula that is a visual treat for the eyes! Her personal style is nothing short of enviable either, she has a great ability to pull off soft and delicate as well as strong and avant-garde! See for yourself, we think she looks absolutely stunning in our F&F couture dress.

We love that she has a keen eye for the details of the pieces she owns, from the intricate designs on the trinkets she finds at flea markets, to the notable features on her clothing. She has a very down to earth approach to her blog, inviting readers to a photographic play-by-play of her vibrant daily life.

Be sure to check out her beautiful blog, along with a notepad to jot down any style inspiration!

Clothing at Tesco loves Jazzabelle’s Diary!

By Rochelle Symons in Clothing at Tesco loves on Friday 19th November, 2010

This week, we’ve been reading a gorgeous fashion blog called Jazzabelle’s Diary, written by, well, Jazmine! A girl with a sixth sense for styling, she effortlessly manages to piece together items from a range of different places to make them work as a brilliant outfit.

Her background as an Art and Design student is particularly evident with the photography in her posts, and the beautiful washed out vintage tones compliment her personal style perfectly. We especially admire her ability to remain quirky, whilst still being subtle and on trend.

Be sure to check out ‘my new favourite thing’, where she elegantly styles one of our very own F&F maxi dresses, and ‘double chunky knit, hobo jumper and reflections’, a fine example of an outfit to combat the upcoming chill!

Kate’s dress is here!

By Ken Synnott in News, Top Picks, Womenswear on Thursday 18th November, 2010

One of the most inevitable, but one of the most heart warming engagements of 2010, yes, Kate and Will are finally getting married.

So while we all watched them announce their engagement to the world, all eyes were on two things. The ring, and the blue dress that showed off that sapphire to perfection.

The dress is a £349 Issa creation, but we’re offering our own version for just £16!

Our very own Jan Marchant said: “Kate Middleton looked extremely elegant in her choice of outfit and many women will want to find a high street replica of this now iconic dress. It’s very versatile – a classic design and perfect for many special occasions. We expect it to sell out fast.”

The dress is available online by following this link. Prince and sapphire ring not included.

Clothing at Tesco loves Baby Rambles

By Ken Synnott in Clothing at Tesco loves on Friday 12th November, 2010

This week, we’ve been reading Babyrambles, a great award winning blog written by blogger Emily who documents her experiences looking after three children under five. While that prospect may seem a little daunting for many of us, she has taken parenting in her stride and she’s even bagged the Best Baby Blogger award at this year’s MAD Awards!

Her award win is not surprising however, as she approaches mummy blogging in a frank and witty manner, and is not afraid to talk about the inevitably tougher aspects of parenthood – something that all parents can relate to. We particularly like A four year old’s holiday snaps, where she presents her little one’s creative work, and CBeebies. It’s Great, an amusing post that praises the channel for helping her through more trying times.

Be sure to check out Emily’s blog to follow her daily adventures through family life!

Have a great weekend!
