Rainbows & Fairydust

It’s Friday again, and the end to another week of style spotting in the blogosphere! This week, we’ve been reading Rainbows & Fairydust, a great fashion blog written by Clare.

One thing you notice straight away when reading her blog, is that she is completely comfortable wearing a dramatic outfit, be it this gorgeous colour blocking blazer and blouse combo, or this maxi dress and floppy hat beauty! She also isn’t afraid to try her hand at DIY fashion, and has an eye for transforming high street into high end – as well as saving a pretty penny along the way!

Clare’s certainly proved that she has a true passion for fashion, so it’s no wonder that she’s quite the girl about town! Follow her as she goes style spotting at the London Fashion Week Look show, and even sneakily spots fashion icon Olivia Palermo!

Be sure to check out Clare’s fantastic blog, especially for style inspiration as we enter the spring season!

Paris Fashion Week

By Ken Synnott in News on Thursday 10th March, 2011

Naomi Campbell Spotted at Paris Fashion Week

Regarded as one of the most stylish capitals of the world and the home of haute couture, Paris certainly takes its fashion very seriously and we’ve been keeping a sneaky eye on the runways of Paris Fashion Week.

With a long-standing reputation for churning out some of the most extravagant, luxurious, and decadent clothing to grace the fashion world, this season certainly didn’t fail to impress! From the gorgeous traditionally autumn palette used by Elie Saab, to the epitome of seventies chic from Chloe, style spotters were treated to great inspiration from all directions.

We also loved the dramatic atmosphere at the Chanel show, and thought Sarah Burton’s collection as creative director of Alexander McQueen paid the perfect tribute to the designer’s show stopping style.

Kate Moss And Jamie Hince Spotted At Paris Fashion Week

Of course, where the models walk, the celebs are sure to follow – and Paris Fashion Week certainly didn’t have a shortage of those! Louis Vuitton enlisted a veritable who’s who of the fashion world to walk their runway, including supermodel veteran’s Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Hollywood also made the trip across the pond with the likes of Katy Perry, Liv Tyler, and Emma Roberts all taking pride of place on the front row.

Lady Gaga At Paris Fashion Week

It seems as though a couple of the A-list weren’t too lucky, as we heard reports that Kanye West had being turned away from a number of top name shows. However, the show was truly stolen by Lady Gaga, as she made her catwalk debut for Mugler.

It has certainly been an action-packed week, and we expected nothing less from Fashion Week. After all, it’s barely two weeks since we saw our very own London Fashion Week draw to a close – be sure to check out the reports from the front row and highlights by our F&F team!

If you’re also thinking about your wardrobe for the upcoming season, don’t forget to check out our trend updates on the Clothing at Tesco website, where we’ve covered the new seventies trend and the re-emergence of florals!

That's So Yesterday

We can’t quite believe it’s March already, but with style inspiration like this, we’re fully embracing the spring season! This week, we’ve been reading That’s So Yesterday, by self confessed Lady Gaga and Ebay addict Laura.

She shares our love for bold prints, and she certainly isn’t afraid of a splash of colour! But don’t take our word for it, see for yourself as she completely works this printed scarf and jacket combo, as well as this eye-catching hot pink lipstick!

We also love that she doesn’t keep all her style secrets to herself, often updating her blog with her latest nail art, and even has a guide to the new dip dyed hair trend!

So if your looking to inject a bit more colour into your spring wardrobe, be sure to check out Laura’s blog for a bit of inspiration!
