How to Claim your child’s free uniform
Clothing at Tesco has contacted the winning schools to organise free uniform vouchers for each pupil. Parents of children attending the school that won the competition will need to contact their school to pick up their voucher. The school must comply with the competition rules agreeing to sign up to the uniform embroidery service by sending a sample of their crest. The school will need to approve the embroidered schoolwear before issuing the vouchers. For schools that have broken up for the summer holidays, and which Clothing at Tesco are unable to contact, embroidered uniform vouchers will be issued in September.
The Final 15 at the end of the competition

I am a parent at frobisher primary school, and would like to say a big thank you to tesco, for having a bonus prize for the effort everyone has put in.
My niece attends this school, in one of the most deprived areas of the UK and its nice to know that so many people took the time out to vote for Frobisher School. Lets hope that the new t- Shirts will give a much needed lift to the school and give the children something to be proud of. Thank you so much to Tesco for running the extra prize .
for anyone who is wondering Ysgol y Traeth means The Beach school – I bet there are not too many schools where when it is stormy, the sea tosses over the sea wall and over the road and lands on their playing field. Like Frobisher School we are in an area designated as deprived, for some things like jobs may be, but for the things that matter like community spirit and working together the community is tops Di Iawn pawb
I would just like to thank Tesco for running such an incredible competition which really saw two communities pulling together to support their local school which was incredible to see. Commiserations to Frobisher, well done for putting such a valiant effort and making the competition so interesting and nail biting and a big WELL DONE to Ysgol y Traeth, I’ve never seen so many parents walking around with such big grins on their faces as I have today, it was incredible to see and made me soooo proud to live in my town and the community!!!! I’m also pleased to see that Tesco have issued a bonus prize to Frobisher, it’s a lovely idea!
I would just to like to say that its a shame that Tesco only support large schools that get funding. Our school has 6 pupils, gets little funding and no chance of getting enough votes to win this sort of thing.
well done to the deserving winners ysgol y traeth all the support u had, i was glad to have sum involvment even if it was a single vote, very well done :)
I am so pleased to see that Ysgol y Traeth won, so much effort went into voting with family and friends contacting their family and friends and so on; even a few repeated requests to vote to make sure that we got our numbers up!! Well deserved! Little school Big community spirit!!
I think this is great and an absolutely valiant effort by all and you should all be very proud, the shirts I am sure will be well received. However, Tesco I am sure school uniforms consist of more than just shirts or do kids not have to wear trousers or skirts from a uniform range anymore? just thought it was an entire uniform we were voting for? Maybe not but if so should the campaign not have been titled free embroidered shirts for an entire school rather than use the word uniform? Sorry to put a downer on the offer but just seems odd it would just be shirts? Tesco?
My daughter goes to Frobisher and will love her sweatshirt. Well done to Ysgol y Traeth, I hope they enjoy their uniforms. Interesting to note that the hardest fighters in the competition were from two schools in very deprived areas … it shows that despite a lack of investment and facilities, both schools are not lacking in spirit or a pride in their school. If my daughter is anything to go by, the pupils of Frobisher don’t need a lift, most seem to love the place and my daughter moans when the holidays come and can’t wait to go back – its a cracking little school!
Im also a parent at frobisher primary school and so happy that tesco saw how much of an effort we made on voting. And gave us an bonus prize, im sure all the children will look smart in their new sweat shirts when they go back to school in september. Thanks tesco
Congratulations to Ysgol y Traeth Gwynedd and to Karen Langridge for getting her Cross stitcher friends involved in such a good cause – We have 4 little schools closing here in Ceredigion and a new school being built Ysgol T. Llew Jones at Brynhoffnant, (Nr Llangranog) Llandysul – ready for Sept 2012 – hope Tesco has this great event next year – would love to see your children in new uniforms – love love love Nanna Carol xxxxx
