Does my virtual bum look big in this?

By saraferrity in Exclusive, News on Wednesday 29th February, 2012

Forget sore feet from pounding the pavements around the shops, forget rude shop assistants, and finally forget the queues for the changing rooms because F&F are proud to launch the first virtual 3D fitting room on our Facebook page!

If our exclusive trial is a success it will mean that you, our lovely customers, will no longer have to second guess whether a dress might look too short, if trousers are too long or a jacket too tight. Not only is this practical but the girls in the office have all had a play around with it and I can assure you its great fun as well! Style different outfits, trying various skirts, tops and jackets to find the perfect matching look and share with your friends to see if they like your new look just as much as you do! If you and they like what you see then you can add to basket and purchase on the website.  Easy!

All you have to do is upload two photos, or if preferred, enter your body measurements and a photo of their face.  In just a few minutes the F&F virtual fitting room creates your very own virtual body, to look exactly like you and then suggests sizes based on the details submitted.

If you join us on Facebook you can trial the new free service, and also be in with the chance of winning £50 to spend online! Also, you can click the video below for a step-by-step guide to using our Fitting Room.

Introducing F&F Made-up Collection

By saraferrity in Blogspot, Celebrity, Get the look on Tuesday 28th February, 2012

We all know that true style doesn’t end with your wardrobe. Where would Kate Moss be today for example without her trademark black eyeliner? Following on from the very successful launch of our F&F Made Up cosmetics range we have decided to bring some extra glamour to the blog and start talking make-up as well as clothes!

This Week we’re trying to get the Kate Middleton look – the high life on a budget? Yes please!

Step by step guide

1. Kate’s fresh and natural skin

Kate’s skin is radiant and extremely healthy-looking. Get a similar result by mixing our creamy oil free foundation mixed with a touch of our galaxy glow highlighter to create a flawless base.

Next dot some enlighten me concealar under your eyes for that fresh appearance. The concealar can also be used on any blemishes to ensure your skin looks as perfect as Kates!

Finish off the skin off with some pressed translucent powder to make sure it lasts all day long.

Oil-free liquid foundation £7.50 , galaxy glow highlighter £9.50 , Enlighten me concealar £6.00, translucent powder £7.00

2. Kate’s gorgeous glow

Get Kate’s killer cheekbones by running a matte bronzer like our warm bronzer under your cheekbones to contour your face and make it appear slimmer.

Then capture Kate’s pretty feminine glow with a dab of our fever blush on the apples of your cheeks.

matte warm bronzer £7.50 , fever cheek colour £5.00

3. Kate’s signature eyeliner

Our eyeshadow palette ‘Boulevard’ is perfect for recreating Kate’s classic eye make-up.

Start with the lightest beige coloured shade all over the lid and up to the brow bone. This not only acts like a primer but highlights the brow so it looks higher.  On the lid use the second colour – the light, purpley tone. This colour looks fantastic with green eyes like Kates but also looks pretty darn good with blue eyes as well.

Use our eyeliner ink in black signal around the eye, rather than inside to open the eyes up. Lining the inside creates more of an evening look. Finish with our black mascara for beautiful ,natural lashes fit for a princess!

Boulevard eye palette £6.00 , black eyeliner £5.50 , black mascara £7. 00

4. Kate’s glossy lips

Our lipgloss in Bellini Crush is perfect for recreating Kate’s glossy pout. Remember to keep a tube in your bag so you can look as polished as she does throughout the day!

Bellini Crush lipgloss £5.00

Now go snag yourselves a Prince ladies!

Clothing at Tesco loves… Yummy Mummy’s Galore

By Rochelle Symons in Clothing at Tesco loves on Friday 24th February, 2012

Yummy Mummy’s Galore

Hello Friday! We can’t wait to meet this weekend head on. But first it’s time for our favourite part of the day, and we’re giving a big slice of Friday love to a blogger we’ve been reading constantly all week. This week, we’re loving Yummy Mummy’s Galore!

Rachel is the beauty behind this blog, and she features funky fashion combos that make us want to break out our inner flower child. We adore the winter fashions that she’s been posting lately because, despite the frigid weather, she makes the bright colours look vivid and alive. Sometimes she takes a single colour and highlights it with stunning results.

What’s amazing about Rachel’s blog is that her fashion choices are so versatile. Find yourself at the park, strutting your stuff on the streets or just getting coffee with friends, and she’s got the outfit for you.

Follow her on Twitter if you can’t get enough of her blog either!
