Last week on our Facebook page we asked you to share your style dilemmas with us, and we wanted to know what item of clothing poses a challenge when trying to find the perfect fit.
We were overwhelmed with all the comments and it seems that everybody has a problem area that they struggle to buy for.
I trawled through the comments and picked out three that I felt I could try and solve on Lifestyled.
So here goes….
Firstly, many of you mentioned finding jeans that have a higher waist to pull you in in the right places. Well, having tried them myself, I can safely say that our amazing ‘Bum and Tum’ jeans help with that dilemma. The higher waist pulls you in at the front and the back pockets are placed in a way that creates some sort of illusion and makes your bottom look very pert. Two birds with one stone? I think so…
Secondly, some of you mentioned finding dresses that were shaped to flatter curves, rather than hide them! I can’t help but think that the peplum dress has been a godsend for this. The shape simply pulls you in at the waist, flatters the hips and makes your legs appear longer with the fitted bottom half.
There are an array of colours and styles to choose from on the high street at the moment but my favourite has to be this purple V- neck version. Match this with a pair of black court shoes and you’re good to go!
Finally, many of you mentioned that you struggle to find a button through shirt that fits perfectly on the chest. I suggest you try this beautiful wrap shirt. The style not only creates a unique look from the usual formal shirts or blouses, but its designed to flatter your bust and not make you feel as though your shirt is about to burst open bearing all!
