Back in June, we were given a sneak preview of some of the garments expected to hit the Clothing at Tesco rails this autumn, and we certainly were spoilt for choice!
‘English Heritage’ and ‘Return of Retro’ are the key fashion trends featured in our collection for next season, and we’ve already got a sneaky eye on our favourites! Expect quilted jackets, lumberjack-esque shirts and knee high boots galore to perfect a chic country inspired look. Sophisticated vintage inspired style also makes a comeback this season… with ‘60s shift dresses, floaty tunics and gorgeous flared trousers taking center stage in the ‘Return of Retro’.

Sneak peek – our new TV advert

Our Autumn/Winter TV advert airs tonight but we couldn’t resist giving you a sneak peek. Although we’ve picked our key pieces for Autumn/Winter 2010, they are all classics which will take you beyond 2010. Camel, fairisle and aviator are set to be huge trends this season but these trends are always in fashion. Our retro-style advert was directed by Dawn Shadforth, who also directed the videos for ‘Can’t get you outta my head’ and ‘Lights’ by Kylie and the Scissor Sisters respectively. One of our favourites is Ruby Rocks, perfect for those who are looking for something bold and a little different. Ruby Rocks has been around for a few years now and is known for its feminine, romantic dresses and bold prints. The spring/summer collection features beautiful kaftans (perfect for hiding a multitude of sins and perfect for the beach) as well as gorgeous print and wrap dresses which are perfect for any occasion.
