Frills “n” Spills

Happy Friday! We’ve been busy this week scouring through our favourite blogs to decide which one to share with you. It’s always tough with so many fab blogs out there, but this week we simply had to mention Maria’s great vintage style, as seen on her blog Frills “n” Spills.

Maria has a great sense of style, and certainly provides some brilliant style inspiration for this season’s ‘Return of Retro’ trend. We particularly loved this 40’s influenced floral dress featured in her ‘mum’s the word’ post, and found it really hard not to fall for this vibrant red skirt – we’ll certainly be keeping a look out for something similar!

To top off all the fantastic outfit selections, she also regularly posts recipes including mouth-watering photos, such as this post on how to make a delicious looking apple and blackberry sponge pudding.

So whether you are into vintage styling or fancy trying your hand at one of her recipes, be sure to add Frills “n” spills to your reading list today!

Lottie Loves

Friday’s here, and we’ve got another great blog up our sleeve! But it isn’t just any blog – Lottie Loves is a blog to devoted to vintage and period fashion, and blogger Lottie’s passions and interests shine through every facet of her blog.

Inspired by the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s, Lottie has proven to be a great inspiration as she is able take the elegant trends of the era, and pull them off effortlessly! Especially with the upcoming Mad Men inspired 60’s trend, we can’t help but swoon over her full skirts and long hemlines that embody the trademark femininity of the era’s style.

We also love that Lottie is a true advocate for looking your best and high self esteem. Her ‘Finishing School’ feature is a series of posts designed to help women everywhere boost their confidence levels and she has some great tips to help you feel fabulous! We especially like A little about me…, where she asks her readers to list their favourite things about themselves.
