We’ve all waited for what seems like an eternity for the sun to shine and the blue skies to reign above us, and this week it finally happened. And we found ourselves humming, ‘The sun has got his hat on! Hip, hip, hip, hooray!’ every single morning! What a great feeling!

And what do us girls love to do the minute the sun comes out? Get our summer outfits sorted of course! We’ve been inundated on Twitter with all your fabulous outfit of the day tweets with you wearing Clothing at Tesco!

If you’re looking for vintage-style 1950’s inspiration – possibly our favourite decade for fashion that flatters – then look no further than our blog of the week… Pocket Rocket Fashion!

Pocket Rocket Fashion is a hub of deliciously affordable fashion finds, collected by Lauren, the pocket-sized, curvy fashionista at the helm of the blog, Lauren founded her cute blog back in August 2009 when she decided to put all her fashion know-how to work to create Pocket Rocket Fashion.

We love Lauren’s eye for style and glamour, and her eye for simple touches that make all the difference to an outfit, like a kitsch themed brooch. Our favourite look is her amped up old-school Hollywood glamour outfit which teams elegant black lace with lavishly ruched floral textures in a way that screams demure goddess. This outfit would be perfect for weddings, the races, or a fun night out.

My Sentimental Heart

Happy Friday ladies!

We’ve had a super busy few days here at HQ (catch up on what we’ve been up to here!) so we’re looking forward to winding down this weekend! And what better way to start the weekend than a cup of tea and a good read of a fab clothing blog? This week we’re loving… My Sentimental Heart!

Sarah is the blogger at the helm of this super cute and girlie blog, and is a very clued up when it comes to fashion, style and beauty know-how! We love what she wore to our Autumn/Winter 2012 preview last week, and how she discusses simple issues like finding the perfect maxi-skirt to suit you, which I’m sure many of us can empathize with!

We love that she ‘loves cake (both the eating and the making of!), fashion, theatre, film and anything with flowers on,’ and she frequently updates her blog throughout the week so make sure you bookmark her blog to stay up to date!

You can also follow this fab fashion blogger on Twitter over at @Sarah_Sentiment!

Oh and she’s a firm lover of a good cup of tea, so be sure to pop the kettle on and indulge a la My Sentimental Heart!

Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Clothing at Tesco loves… The Ramblings of Mrs BeBe

The Ramblings of Mrs BeBe

Hello my lovelies!

Rain, rain, go away… I think its safe to say the weather has got us reaching for our wellies, jumpers and waterproofs this week! We’ve set up our April Showers edit on site with everything you need to keep you and your family puddle-proof! But it is Friday, so time to duck out of the rain and announce our blogger of the week… The Ramblings Of Mrs Bebe!

This fabulous blog was created by the lovely Becky Barnes, aka Mrs BeBe; a super stylish business woman who’s vintage mad, married and a mother of one.’ We love how she mixes affordable high street fashion with vintage finds and makes it oh-so-chic and on trend! Also if you find yourself in a bit of a struggle to wear an item differently, you should definitely check out her post on Dotty Dress 3 Ways for some style tips!

Mrs BeBe is a very busy lady. Not only does she run her popular blog singlehandedly, but she also likes to get other blogs involved in special features – such as the Plus Size Swimwear Challenge where she gets her blogger friends to road test different swimsuits to give readers a greater scope about what’s on offer. Spot on lady!

As well as fun and helpful features, she’s also curating Plus North 2012, a plus size blogger event showcasing lots of fantastic event – we say grab your tickets now so you don’t miss out!

You can also follow this very resourceful young lady on Twitter over at @MrsBeBe!

Happy Friday guys! It’s nearly officially the weekend, which means it’s time to start debating our weekend outfits (this changeable weather is certainly keeping us on our toes).

Music is undoubtedly a huge genre that inspires the fashion industry, and with the annual celebration of ‘independent record store day’ this weekend, we’re checking out the best people to give us the low-down and fashion tips.

Our fave this week is ‘Quarter Life Tales of Annie Bean’.

Annie is a music and fashion blogging addict from the glorious Midlands who “loves tea parties, travel, running & being spontaneous!” Her blog lures you in with tales of outfit inspiration along with a sprinkling of her outdoor travels that will have you glued for hours.

A close follower of fashion, Annie takes key fashion trends and styles them in a way that is wearable and looks effortless for everyday wear. She also has this year’s summer style down to a T, wearing a Vintage Candy style floral dress paired with an oversized tan coloured handbag and a loosely disheveled up-do. So pretty!

We’re also impressed with how she pulls off what we like to call ‘cycle-chic.’ A keen fitness fanatic she doesn’t let this stop her looking stylish! We’re talking stylish cycle helmets (you heard us!) and covetable baskets to accessorize your bicycle.

As always don’t forget to follow her on Twitter over at @aggy84.

Have a lovely weekend ladies!

Happy Friday everyone! We can’t wait to get the weekend started, and if you’re anything like us, you’ll love hunting down outfit inspiration for your next clothes haul – and this week we’ve been glued to EmilinaLove.

At the helm of this insightful fashion blog is Emily Eleanor, a fab Creative Writing student from Birmingham with an obsession for all things grunge and vintage. Think Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen meets Alexa Chung glam grunge fashion.

As well as her fab fashion finds we also love how Emily puts together deceivingly affordable outfits that scream high-end British fashion, with inspiration from London’s East End and boutique fashion stores.

We especially love this glam outfit, which is a mixture of high street and online, with the faux fur coat from yours truly!

Be sure to add her blog to your reading list, and don’t forget to follow her on twitter!

Happy fantastic weekend everyone!

Clothing at Tesco loves… I Want You To Know!

Clothing at Tesco loves… I Want You To Know!

Have you been enjoying the recent sunny spell? We’re certainly loving the summer vibes, so what better way to celebrate the sun’s reappearance, than to spread the love to another fabulous blogger! This week, we’re loving I Want You To Know, a blog written by the lovely Kristabel.

We’ve actually been reading Kristabel’s blog for a while now, and even had to chance to meet her at London Fashion Week in February – so we thought it was about time that we featured her on our very own! Kristabel’s outfits are always so well thought out, and we’re envious of her knack for pulling them off effortlessly. We especially loved her outfit in ‘Saturday Southbank’ – the contrast between the tailored blazer and quirky skirt is gorgeous, and it’s definitely one for the style notes!

Another thing we love about Kristabel’s blog is her day to day account of London life – be it grabbing a spot of Dim Sum at Covent Garden or wondering the fascinating Portobello market – there’s always something there to get us inspired!

So why not grab a quiet spot in the sun to have a good read of Kristabel’s blog, and be sure to follow her on Twitter!

Happy Friday!

Clothing at Tesco loves… Not So Serious Fashion

Not So Serious Fashion

Hello and happy Friday to all our fab LifeStyled readers! Here are just a few things that have made us smile this week: the sun peeping his sleepy head from beneath the clouds, payday and following our favourite blogger this week: Not So Serious Fashion!

Gemma’s knack for on-trend affordable fashion for the plus size lady is spot on! We love how she gives a feminine outfit some oomph by layering a chunky knit over a floaty dress, and teams it with a chic biker jacket and opaques. We also particularly enjoy how she’s given an embellished headband another lease of life as a necklace!

Gemma’s blog blends fashion and accessory tips and finds, from high-street to thrift store, along with an infectiously bubbly personality, so be sure to check her out!

Have a happy weekend everyone! x

P.S. We’re craving the coconut macaroons she made. YUM!

Yummy Mummy’s Galore

Hello Friday! We can’t wait to meet this weekend head on. But first it’s time for our favourite part of the day, and we’re giving a big slice of Friday love to a blogger we’ve been reading constantly all week. This week, we’re loving Yummy Mummy’s Galore!

Rachel is the beauty behind this blog, and she features funky fashion combos that make us want to break out our inner flower child. We adore the winter fashions that she’s been posting lately because, despite the frigid weather, she makes the bright colours look vivid and alive. Sometimes she takes a single colour and highlights it with stunning results.

What’s amazing about Rachel’s blog is that her fashion choices are so versatile. Find yourself at the park, strutting your stuff on the streets or just getting coffee with friends, and she’s got the outfit for you.

Follow her on Twitter if you can’t get enough of her blog either!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! To celebrate the day of love, we’ve asked our favourite bloggers to take over our resident ‘Clothing at Tesco loves…’ feature, in order to spread some love to their favourite bloggers, as well as gift them with a special something from F&F! They’ve certainly made some fab choices, so if you’re looking for some reading inspiration, be sure to check out their picks below!

She’s one of the nicest bloggers I know and I love that there’s a fellow Fashion Blogger who loves Formula One as much as I do!!”

I’d like to give her the F&F Limited Edition Striped Ponte Pencil Skirt, as it would look absolutely flawless on her. :)”

“My favourite blogger at the moment is Jenny of The Style PA. The Style PA is the perfect mix of up-to-date fashion news, personal style, and shopping ideas. It’s like all my favourite kinds of blog rolled into one. And it helps that Jenny is one of the coolest girls I know!

Jen mentioned on her blog last week that she is about to start a new job, which is why I chose this statement jacket for her. I hope she likes it!”

Pearl from Fashion Pearls of Wisdom loves… Intrinsically Florrie!

“When Clothing at Tesco offered me the chance to send a fellow blogger a Valentines surprise I knew immediately who to choose. Florrie’s blog is so enchanting, she writes about her experiences with fashion but always with her own personal touches, expect lots of flowers, florals, pink, bows and cup cakes! Most recently she has shared her fairytale experience of being a debutant and her discovery into the world of Sweet Lolita style. Life can’t always be sunshine and rainbows and Florrie has also shared her experiences of learning to live with a chronic medical condition, she is a very brave young woman who I am proud to have as one of my closest friends. If anyone deserves a little treat it is Florrie”
