The Official Climate Week T-Shirt is here!

By Ken Synnott in News on Thursday 17th March, 2011

Here at Tesco, we like to keep our fingers on the fashion pulse, but we also like to ensure we do it in an ethical way and one that supports the environment.

As the official partner of National Climate Week, which runs from 21-27th March, Clothing at Tesco has teamed up with the ‘patron saint of print’, Eley Kishimoto in aid of the Environmental Justice Foundation to create the official limited edition T-shirts.

Manufactured using wind and solar power, the organic T-shirts can be purchased for just £10 on the Clothing at Tesco site and in Tesco stores.

These super cool T-shirts, available for men and women, are being backed by such fashion forward and fabulous celebs as Lily Cole, Gemma Arterton, KT Tunstall and Eliza Doolittle making them the fashion world’s T-shirt of choice.  So there’s no excuse not to support the cause!

It’s really important to us to get behind and help tackle climate change and we want you guys to help us. The Prime Minister, Sir Paul McCartney and Vivienne Westwood have been inspired to combat this environmental issue. We hope you will too!

You can also get involved by taking part in our Climate Week events such as Earth Hour and the Climate Week Challenge – the UK’s biggest live environmental event ever! Details for the challenge will be revealed at 9am on Monday 21st March, so stay tuned for more info!
