Occasion matters
The one-bra-for-all has had its day. Every woman can now have lingerie to suit every aspect (and outfit) of her life – from everyday comfort to sport support, and even the sexy essential to match that little black dress! Trying on outfits in advance can also help avoid any last minute lingerie issues and help you know in advance which style works with which outfit, so you’re ready for that last minute invitation!
Work with what you’ve got
It’s important to know what you want your lingerie to do. If you’d like to give yourself an added boost, then a push up bra will work wonders. On the flipside, those with a fuller bust may appreciate a balcony bra as it emphasises what you’ve got from below. Also check out longline bras if you’d like a streamlined silhouette, and plain smooth bras for a more discreet look under clingy tops or vests.
Colour Palette
Here is where you can get really creative. It’s nice to have a range of colours to suit your mood, especially when you’ve got an outfit that could potentially reveal a playful peek. The old rules of style still apply though – never wear a white bra with a black dress, and nude bras only with white shirts!
