Clothing at Tesco loves… Where Is Harriet?

By Rochelle Symons in Clothing at Tesco loves on Friday 10th February, 2012

Hello and a lovely Friday to everyone! It’s been absolutely freezing outside over the last week, but we’re cuddled up warm and cosy  – thinking about the joys of summer holidays to distant beaches and sun filled days. So it’s only fitting to take a trip with our favourite blogger this week: Where Is Harriet.

Harriet’s eye for style is spot on. We adore her gorgeous photo-filled posts and her mixture of personal fashion finds and runway trends. We don’t have any idea where she finds the exotic backdrops for her photos, but we hope she keeps them coming!

Harriet has something for everyone’s taste: whether you love high fashion, travel, inspiration and fun personal challenges, or perhaps just a quick window into London life. We love travelling with her through all of these adventures!

Still dreaming of sunnier days? Be sure to follow Harriet on Twitter for a daily dose of warmth.

Clothing at Tesco loves… Temporary:Secretary

Temporary:Secretary

The working week feels like it has whizzed by thanks to the bank holiday, but this hasn’t meant we’ve forgotten to share our favourite blogger of the week! This week, we would like to share with you the lovely Sarah and her great blog – Temporary Secretary.

Sarah has been running her blog for 4 years and we’re totally in love with her outfits, as well as the beautiful photography used to capture them. Her great sense of style means she is always bang on trend – we’re really fond of this recent post featuring a cute maxi skirt. She also has a real knack for getting outfits just right; simply check out this denim shirt and cute necktie combo and you’ll see what we mean!

When Sarah is not blogging she manages a jewellery company (or vice versa), selling some beautiful rings, bracelets and earrings, amongst other trinkets. And because of this all of her posts feature the gorgeous jewellery – we couldn’t help but fall for the rings in this post as they really make the outfit shine.

It’s a great blog with some fantastic content so be sure to give it a read, and to keep up with her latest posts make sure you follow her on Twitter.

Happy Friday!

Clothing at Tesco loves… From Gem With Love

From Gem With Love

It’s Friday and it’s been a week jam-packed with style inspiration in the blogosphere! This week we have been reading the fantastic From Gem with Love written by the talented Gem (if the name didn’t already give it away)!

One of the best things about Gem’s blog is the quality of her photography. It’s something she’s clearly passionate about and her photos show her talent well. Her photographs of flowers are beautiful – she even did a bit of a photography tutorial recently to help her readers improve their own. We’re definitely big fans of the fashion and photography mixture!

Gem’s sense of style is lovely, and we particularly loved her post, Tangerine Dream, where she looked gorgeous in a dress from F&F! She’s also got a keen eye for vintage finds, check out this gorgeous satchel that we’ve completely fallen for!

As always, don’t forget to follow her on Twitter

Happy Friday!

Clothing at Tesco loves… Take-out in Couture

Take-out in Couture

We had a brilliant time this week at our F&F Autumn/Winter 2011 Press Day, and it was a great excuse to meet and catch up with some of our favourite (and fabulously stylish) bloggers! We met the lovely Susie at the event, and ever since we’ve been hooked on her gorgeous blog, Take-out in Couture!

Susie certainly knows her stuff when it comes to her personal style, and she has an eye for picking out outfits that are bang on trend, whilst being completely wearable. She’s not afraid of a bit of colour, and likes to add splashes of brightness into her outfit when she can – just take a look at this lovely colour blocking outfit, which we think would be perfect for a summer day in the office!

Not simply stopping at her own style, Susie also likes to keep a constant eye out for great fashion inspiration wherever she goes! We just can’t get enough of her street style posts – especially the effortless style of this adorable couple, and the ‘throw-it-on’ look that these bunch of cool kids have down to a tee.

Be sure to check out Susie’s blog if you’re at a loss for style creativity, and don’t forget to check out her gorgeous photos of our Press Day!

If you’re on Twitter, you can follow her too.

Happy Friday!

Just in time for the start of London Fashion Week, we bring you The Bottom of the Ironing Basket, a blog written by a very chic mummy called Simone, who writes about her love of fashion along with tidbits from her life as a full time parent – or ‘Chairman of the Board and Household Executive’ as she likes to be formally called.

Simone certainly has a knack for choosing the best of the latest trends, and keeps a keen eye on celebrity fashion. Be sure to check out Friday Fabulousness, where she expresses her heart-warming feelings about her youngest child starting his first day at school, and Wordless Wednesday, a simple post containing her selection of some beautiful and inspiring photography.

We really enjoyed the creative aspects of Simone’s blog, and all her posts contain things that we can all take inspiration from.

Have a great weekend!

Behind the scenes of our menswear shoot

By Ken Synnott in Behind the scenes, Menswear on Monday 5th July, 2010

Last week we were busy shooting our menswear collection for Autumn/Winter, and we thought we would give you a sneak peek of what was going on behind the scenes.

We gave you a look at some of the range at the press day in May, and the menswear team have been hard at work since, including a long day on this shoot!

There was also some excitement, as the team spotted the Queen of Pop coming into the studio as they were on their way out. Perhaps she is a material girl after all…
