How much difference does shapewear make?
Strong control shapewear holds in your bottom, tummy and/or thighs and in some cases can make you appear inches smaller. Light control shapewear evens out the line of skin under clothing and gives you a smooth silhouette. The difference it makes is both in the way your clothes fit and sit and in the confidence it gives you so that you’re not worrying about visible panty lines or ‘lumps and bumps’ showing.
What size should I buy?
Do I go for a size up for comfort, or a size down, to ‘suck me in’?
As a rule of thumb, buy the same size in shapewear that you’d buy in regular knickers or your dress size. It’s not a case of ‘I want to go from a size 16 to a size 14 so I’ll buy size 14 knickers!’ If you’re in between sizes, try on both and see which feels the most comfortable. After all, there’s no point in looking fabulous if you feel self-conscious and irritated.
What if I’m a mixed size, eg a size 14 waist and a B cup?
Try the wear your own bra all in one, or mix and match with knickers, thigh shapers and camisole tops to get a combo which works for you.
Why doesn’t shapewear come in smaller sizes?

What do you recommend for women with bigger busts?

How do I make the most of my post baby body?
You definitely don’t want to wear anything too tight which could make you uncomfortable.
