Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! To celebrate the day of love, we’ve asked our favourite bloggers to take over our resident ‘Clothing at Tesco loves…’ feature, in order to spread some love to their favourite bloggers, as well as gift them with a special something from F&F! They’ve certainly made some fab choices, so if you’re looking for some reading inspiration, be sure to check out their picks below!

Sherin Loves... Scientist Chic!

Sherin from HiFashion loves… Scientist Chic!

“I love Lizzy’s blog because she has amazing style and looks gorgeous in everything. It’s great that she still blogs regularly despite doing a PhD, and there’s always intelligence behind her posts. She’s one of the nicest bloggers I know and I love that there’s a fellow Fashion Blogger who loves Formula One as much as I do!!”

Susie loves... I Want You To Know!

Susie from Takeout in Couture loves… I Want You To Know!

“Talented knitwear designer and blogger Kristabel started I Want You to Know in December of 2008.  I Want You to Know is a great mix of event coverage, personal style, travel, and one of my favorite places to read about upcoming trends, vintage finds, and up and coming brands. I’d like to give her the F&F Limited Edition Striped Ponte Pencil Skirt, as it would look absolutely flawless on her. :)”

Tor Loves... The Style PA!

Tor from Fabfrocks loves… The Style PA!

“My favourite blogger at the moment is Jenny of The Style PA. The Style PA is the perfect mix of up-to-date fashion news, personal style, and shopping ideas. It’s like all my favourite kinds of blog rolled into one. And it helps that Jenny is one of the coolest girls I know!

Jen mentioned on her blog last week that she is about to start a new job, which is why I chose this statement jacket for her. I hope she likes it!”

Pearl loves... Intrinsically Florrie!

Pearl from Fashion Pearls of Wisdom loves… Intrinsically Florrie!

“When Clothing at Tesco offered me the chance to send a fellow blogger a Valentines surprise I knew immediately who to choose. Florrie’s blog is so enchanting, she writes about her experiences with fashion but always with her own personal touches, expect lots of flowers, florals, pink, bows and cup cakes! Most recently she has shared her fairytale experience of being a debutant and her discovery into the world of Sweet Lolita style. Life can’t always be sunshine and rainbows and Florrie has also shared her experiences of learning to live with a chronic medical condition, she is a very brave young woman who I am proud to have as one of my closest friends. If anyone deserves a little treat it is Florrie”

Jen loves... Gem Fatale!

Jen from A Little Bird Told Me loves… Gem Fatale!

“I love Gem Fatale’s fantastic blog. She’s a master of DIY (adore her leopard print nail art!), her writing never fails to make me laugh and her outfits are always cute and quirky. I think these heeled desert boots are right up her street – Happy Valentine’s Day, Gem!”

Hello everyone! We hope you’ve all had a wonderful week and are ready for the weekend – we sure are. But just before we let our hair down we thought we would share with you another one of our favourite blogs! This week it’s the turn of Lizzy (soon to be Dr. Lizzy) and her blog – Scientist Chic.

Lizzy has an excellent eye for fashion and is great at picking out some brilliant outfits. We love the items she picked out in her Wishlist for Christmas  – especially the wonderfully sparkly shoes!

Whenever we look at her page there is a new post featuring an item we love, one of our favourites recently has to be this red cape an absolute must for winter, and bang on trend.

Her blog blends fashion, tips and gorgeous photography to become a great hub to get some inspiration. Be sure to check it out.

Oh and as ever – you can find her on Twitter here.

Photos, Food and Fashion at the SS12 Blogger Preview Event

By Rochelle Symons in Exclusive, News, Womenswear on Thursday 24th November, 2011

On Tuesday this week, we donned our gladrags and headed to the Oxo Tower on the South Bank to give some of our favourite bloggers a sneak peek at the F&F Spring Summer 2012 collection. The night was a roaring success – everyone was thrilled to see the gorgeous new pieces that will be available early next year, and we all got into the party vibe with cupcakes, canapés, champagne, beautiful nail art courtesy of WAH nails, and posing that even Madonna would be proud of in the photobooth!

The new collection looked fabulous, with stunning prints, striking colours and statement pieces that we can’t wait to get our hands on! We gave each of our guests a heart shaped tag to hang on their favourite item in the collection – it was a tough choice, but it was great to see the variety of items being picked.

The lovely Tor from Fab Frocks chose a fabulous red number, whilst Lizzy from Scientist Chic went for a cream lace dress. Sarah from EssBeeVee filled hers in sporting a funky polka dot manicure and Clara from Clazzerati chose a stripey tube skirt. We’ll be sharing more favourite blogger pieces over the next few weeks, so stay tuned to see the hottest items from the collection!

Of course, all this browsing was very exhausting, so we rewarded our hard-working bloggers with some very yummy cupcakes, courtesy of Brown Sugar Cupcakes – yum! The wonderful ladies from WAH nails were also on hand to pamper our guests with some glam manicures.

Sherin from Hi Fashion showed off her gorgeous coral and polka dot manicure on Twitter, and Florrie from Intrinsically Florrie rocked her pink glitter and rose manicure. Huge thanks to the WAH nails team for taking part and doing such a fabulous job!

The highlight of the night had to be the photobooth, courtesy of Say Fromage!, which provided an endless source of amusement for us all! There were some fabulous mugshots featuring wigs, Santa hats and fake flamingos – check out the gallery to see them all. Our favourites have to be this fabulous one of Amy from Wolf Whistle being a little star, Clare from Rainbows and Fairydust rocking the pink hair and Laura from That’s So Yesterday showing us her maraccas!

Thank you so much to everybody who came – we couldn’t have done it without you! And if you too want a sneak peak at the collection before it hits stores and our website early next year, keep an eye out for the SS12 lookbook, which we’ll be posting here very soon.
