Snow season is well and truly here and it’s time to either dust off your trusty favourite pair of boots or invest in some new ones. But do you go for practical or pretty when picking your pair? What do your winter boots say about your style?
Cowboy and Western boots. If cowboys are your pick we’d say you’re cool and confident. After all, cowboy boots are always in vogue – they look great with jeans and skirts, and normally have a block heel which elongates the leg and shows off the calf to great effect. You’ve got comfort and style sorted.
Hiking/snow boots: A lover of the great outdoors and not a person who lets a little bit of bad weather stand in her way, if your choice of winter footwear is sturdy walking boots or practical snow boots, you’re always ready for adventure!
Riding boots – quintessentially British and with a long and proud heritage, riding boots are for women who are sophisticated yet practical and like to look polished, whether they’re at the stables or shopping the high street.
Faux fur trimmed: If you like your boots trimmed with faux fur, you might be exotic and indulgent, and love the feel of luxurious pile on your feet. If you’re a faux fur girl, you like to finish off your outfits with pizazz.
Studded ankle – Fashion forward and tough, you’re a girl who likes to make a statement. If you choose stiletto studded boots you’re no nonsense and not to be messed with, but also like the feminine look of heels.
Sheepskin (and faux sheepskin) boots: There are two stories about the origin of sheepskin boots – if you subscribe to the first, that they were made by shearers in rural Australia to keep their feet warm whilst tending sheep in chilly weather, you’re no doubt hardworking and like your boots multi-functional and no-nonsense. If you prefer the second story, that they were first worn by surfers in California, when you slip your feet into your sheepskin boots, maybe you’re dreaming of tropical sunshine to get you through the winter.
So, which one are you?

Hello and happy Friday to all our fab LifeStyled readers! Here are just a few things that have made us smile this week: the sun peeping his sleepy head from beneath the clouds, payday and following our favourite blogger this week: Not So Serious Fashion!
Gemma’s knack for on-trend affordable fashion for the plus size lady is spot on! We love how she gives a feminine outfit some oomph by layering a chunky knit over a floaty dress, and teams it with a chic biker jacket and opaques. We also particularly enjoy how she’s given an embellished headband another lease of life as a necklace!
Gemma’s blog blends fashion and accessory tips and finds, from high-street to thrift store, along with an infectiously bubbly personality, so be sure to check her out!
Have a happy weekend everyone! x
P.S. We’re craving the coconut macaroons she made. YUM!

Hello Friday! We can’t wait to meet this weekend head on. But first it’s time for our favourite part of the day, and we’re giving a big slice of Friday love to a blogger we’ve been reading constantly all week. This week, we’re loving Yummy Mummy’s Galore!
Rachel is the beauty behind this blog, and she features funky fashion combos that make us want to break out our inner flower child. We adore the winter fashions that she’s been posting lately because, despite the frigid weather, she makes the bright colours look vivid and alive. Sometimes she takes a single colour and highlights it with stunning results.
What’s amazing about Rachel’s blog is that her fashion choices are so versatile. Find yourself at the park, strutting your stuff on the streets or just getting coffee with friends, and she’s got the outfit for you.

Blogspot: Our Favourite Blogger Outfits for October!
By saraferrity in Blogspot on Wednesday 26th October, 2011Clothing at Tesco has been all over the blogosphere recently! Apparently the online fashion community are loving our purse-friendly style! Here’s a collection of my favourite looks…

Meet Jazmine from Jazzabelle’s Diary! It’s been an exciting year for our fashionable friend who was not only shortlisted for the Cosmo Blog Awards but landed a job as a freelance stylist! I love how she has worked the heritage trend with our lush F&F houndstooth coat and added a feminine twist with my favourite colour of the season-plum! Why not check out the rest of our online coat selection to recreate the look?

I’ve found a fellow Northern Irish clothes addict in Arlene from dressjunkie. A yummy mummy who knows how to combine style and practicality to look great all year round! Check out the amazing scarf she found at Tesco-why not recreate this cute winter look with your very own by teaming it with an all-black outfit like the lovely Arlene!

Natasha from Silhouette Skies is as thrifty as she is stylish! Look how she has recycled her spring/summer wardrobe for the current season with a cosy knit! Want to get your hands on those fab F&F patent loafers? You’re in luck, they are still on the site!

Sherin combines her love of fashion and music in her fantastic blog HiFashion. She must have been listening to something really upbeat when deciding to wear our amazing orange dress to no less than Fashion Week! Her confidence really shines through in this bright statement dress and I love how she has teamed with simple black shoes to avoid colour overkill!

Last but by no means least, check out Katie from Cherry Humbug’s site. Not only does she offer great styling advice but posts handy tutorials on hair and make-up too! How adorable is her camel F&F Deer Print Sweater?
To all my fellow bloggers out there, we love seeing how you guys rock the F&F brand so get in touch and share your style with the nation!
