Our Royal Wedding Look-a-likes!

We weren’t surprised to see each of the Royal Wedding guests pull out all the stops last Friday, and everyone was certainly dressed to the nines! From the sharp tuxes, dramatic draped fabrics, and stunning tailored cuts, we had a brilliant time style spotting them all!

It also seems like a lot of you had your eyes on the outfits too, as we received some brilliant entries in our Royal Wedding outfit look-a-like competition on our Twitter page! We simply asked all of our followers to pick a guest’s outfit from the wedding and send us a look-a-like item from the Clothing at Tesco range, for their chance to win that item.

It was particularly difficult to choose, but after much deliberation, we managed to whittle them down to ten winners. Check out the first five winners below, and stay tuned as we reveal the next five winners on the blog tomorrow!

Joss wore this very vibrant pink shift dress from Hobbs, and @KJaybaby1 rightly pointed out the similarities with the 18 And East Strappy Back Dress, which has the same fabulously bright colour and fitted cut.

Frances Osborne

We loved the simplicity of Frances Osborne’s grey fitted dress, and this F&F Limited Edition Knitted Dress features the same long sleeves and block colour – thanks to @Welshbybirth for sending us this one.

Princess Beatrice

Princess Beatrice’s outfit might be remembered more for the Philip Treacy hat, but the nude coloured Valentino couture coat she wore was simply stunning. We loved this entry from @kazautomatic who suggested that she could have actually been wearing the Angel Eye Ruffle Neckline Belted Dress underneath!

Pippa Middleton

Pippa Middleton’s bridesmaid dress designed by Sarah Burton has already captivated millions worldwide, and this Ichi Cowl Neck Dress sent to us by @b_fly77, features similar capped sleeves and the gorgeous cowl neck. Also, check out how we would style it here!

Victoria Beckham

We all expected Victoria Beckham to make a memorable appearance, and her midnight blue draped number from her own label certainly made an impact. @becksell2001 thinks that the gorgeous Amys Of Paris One Shoulder Dress makes it a great alternative – and we have to say we agree!

Get The Look: Pippa Middleton

The long weekend might be over, but we just can’t seem to shake the Royal Wedding fever! From the beautiful ceremony and gorgeous styling, to the all-important celebrations – a great day was certainly had by all.

However whilst all eyes were on the happy couple, Kate’s younger sister Pippa also managed to steal a bit of the royal limelight. Walking up the aisle in a breathtaking floor length creation by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, she quickly found herself the focus of the world’s gaze thanks to its elegant simplicity that seemed so fitting for the occasion.

What To Wear: Royal Wedding Special

There’s only three days until Will and Kate’s big day, and it seems like the nation has been well and truly hit with Royal Wedding fever! Everywhere you go, it seems to be the big subject on everyone’s lips – and who can blame them, it’s set to be the celebration of the year!

It’s expected that millions will tune into the festivities this Friday, so however you might be celebrating, be sure that you have the perfect outfit to match. And as it’s shaping up to be a traditionally British affair, we’ve got a gorgeous selection of party wear in Red, White, and Blue, so there’s really no excuse not to dress up for the big day!

Little Wedding Belles

There’s no doubt about it – 2011 will go down as the biggest wedding year for nearly three decades.  Obviously Will and Kate are the highlight of all the celeb marriages taking place this year, and we cannot wait to see the dress, the flowers and the gorgeous bridesmaids and pageboys!

If you like your brides a little more rocky, there’s always the other Kate (Miss Moss) and Jamie Hince planning what we can imagine will be a 2-week non-stop party to celebrate.  We wouldn’t like to be her neighbours, but we would like an invite pretty please!

Nearly trumping the lot, the big news that we’re launching our own wedding shop, complete with beautiful bridesmaids and pageboy outfits!  Anyone who’s ever been a bridesmaid will know how special it feels, and yes, it is all about your dress!  Clothing at Tesco bridesmaid dresses start at just £18 for little princesses from 12 months to 10 years, with linen and pinstripe suits for handsome pageboys aged 5 to 14 starting at just £25.
